Paul, it was an easy painting. first, I have painted all in grey (really it was a mix of dark grey and "burnt umber", but it looks like more grey than umber). Then I have applied a brown wash. Finally, I have drybrushed it mixing white to the base tone. You can do it several times, adding white to the mix.
